"The Sedona hotel which is part of sedona international is a fantastic hotel and certainly a very upper class hotel for Yangon. Because I live in Hong Kong I have access some of the most luxourious hotels in the world including the Peninsula, the four seasons and the Shangri-la so compared to the hotels i have stayed in (none of which are in HK) this hotel is an average 5 star hotel. Pros: The buffet in the restaurant was really delicious and has a very large variety of food Including fresh pastries, a very wide collection of cereals, fruit juices, curry and more. It was a comfortable restaurant. The pool was fantastic infact it was probably the biggest and nicest hotel in Yangon. The hotel has a nice garden area which used to be the outdoor restaurant untill not many people came because of the terrible political situation. But it is still a peice of quiet in this noisy city. For sporty people the hotel features a tennis court and a gym. The rooms are average but very comfortable all the same with big king sized beds and large windows with fantastic views of either the lake or the road and carpark. Cons: The hotel looks as if it hadn't been renovated since it opened way back in 1995. Also it dosen't seem very clean. The bed cover looks like it dosen't get washed regularly. There are alot of empty spaces in the hotel which is probably due to the lack of tourism here in this beautiful country. the main restaurant probably needs a renovation if not the whole hotel. Overall it is very comfortable and although it is located away from the central business district it is a mere 15 fifteen minutes away from the brand new and very clean international airport which is no match from the horrible domestic airport. Oh and for those not in the know the hotel is very near to Aung San Suu Kyi's house where she is kept under arrest. I would reccomend this place if you can't get into some of the nicer hotels downtown."
